We are a nonprofit organization focused on ending the enormous waste of contact lenses worldwide and on providing underprivileged kids with access to free, quality contact lenses. We will also accept unused contact lens solution and contact lens cases. As of October 1st 2019, we have processed and donated over 1.2 million contact lenses.
Simply donate all of your unused contact lenses that no longer match your prescription, contact lens cases and unused contact solution and we'll do the rest. We are always looking for volunteers to help spread the reach of our mission. Please contact us if you would like to organize your own local DonateContacts contact lens drive. We're excited to have you join the team! Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
We accept the following items for donation:
-Unused, unexpired contact lenses
-Sealed solutions (any opened solutions will be discarded).
-Contact lens cases
We are no longer accepting glasses. Please click on the 'Glasses Donation' button for information on donating your glasses
Ever since I started wearing contacts, day to day tasks have felt easier and more natural than having to wear glasses all the time. I realized how much I benefit from wearing contacts, and I’ve decided to help others with the same issue. There are so many contacts that go to waste because of prescription changes, and so many underprivileged children in need. DonateContacts is a charity dedicated to helping kids in need gain access to free contacts, which can impact their daily lives in a positive way.
Despite never having a need for contacts myself, I have seen firsthand the profound impact contacts can have on people's lives even at such a young age. I have many family members and friends who benefit greatly from wearing contacts. When I learned about the constant change in prescription for wearers and learned about the work of DonateContacts I knew I had to get involved.
My name is Lila Millen. Though I don’t use contacts, I do wear glasses. I recognize the need to see and understand the struggles of not having the ability to. It makes me so happy to be a part of this and give less fortunate people the opportunity to see the world. I am so proud to be a part of DonateContacts.
I've been wearing contacts since I was 13 years old and my prescription is always changing before I finish the lenses for my old prescription. I am always left with lots of unused contact lenses that no longer match my prescription because of this. After talking to many of my peers and realizing that they too are often in the same situation, I decided to start this charitable organization to end the waste of contact lenses and help underprivileged kids obtain free contact lenses.
Please send all unused, unexpired contact lens donations to the address below and feel free to Email us if you have any questions or comments. Thank you
